About me
It all began with my parents’ support, who bought me a camera to nurture my photography hobby. As a teenager who was curious to try new things, I also started experimenting and learning how to make videos using that same camera. Having a strong basic understanding of composition from photography, the transition to videography felt seamless. After that, I dedicated myself to learning about editing, writing compelling scripts, and directing my own short films.
When the pandemic hit, many competitions shifted online, requiring participants to submit their entries in the form of videos. Initially, I became involved by helping my brother, Norman Jefferson Nainggolan, record some of the violin competitions he participated in. Shortly thereafter, I actively started looking for various video competitions and have successfully won numerous prestigious national and international awards, starting from when I was in 7th grade until now.
Currently
… I am dedicating my focus to filmmaking as a writer, director, and cinematographer. As shown in the picture, this is a team photo taken during the behind-the-scenes shooting process of our film, Kaset Pita (2024), which led us to secure a Gold Medal in the high school category at the 2024 National Student Art Festival and Competition (FLS2N) for short films in Jakarta on September 22, 2024.
Prior to the National Final, we secured first Place at the Provincial and City levels with our film, Segara (2024), which ultimately advanced us to the National Semi-Finals (National Top 10).
